It is been developed by using superior quality of advance technology and raw materials. Super Duplex round bar has excellent features good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, general corrosion, pitting and high strength about double the proof strength of austenitic stainless steel.

Super Duplex 2507 round bar is been  hot worked between 1875°F to 2250°F and  it should be followed by a solution anneal at 1925°F minimum and a rapid air or water quench. It has high yield strength and low ductility as compared to austenitic steels so manufacturer find it higher forming forces, increased allowance for spring back and increased radius of bending.

Super Duplex Stainless Steel Round Bar is an austenitic-ferritic iron chromium nickel alloy with molybdenum addition. It has very good tensile strength high resistance and good resistance to pitting to stress corrosion cracking at moderate temperatures, compared to that of austenitic stainless steels.

SuperDuplex is used in heat exchangers, oil and gas industry, offshore platforms, chemical processing equipment pressure vessels and boilers. It has a combination of high tensile and impact strength with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity and hence these properties are appropriate for mechanical and many structural components.

Within its microstructure Super Duplex Rod contains a mixture of austenitic and ferritic grains. Ferritic microstructures are magnetic but austenitic microstructures are non-magnetic, so therefore it is consider as magnetic. It does not require preheating except to prevent condensation on cold metal.
