Nickel 200 Pipe is a variation of nickel alloy pipes. The primary content of the composition is Nickel. It has nickel an Cobolt accounting for 99.5% of the composition. There are other elements such as carbon, copper, iron, silicon and sulphur in different quantities to make the alloy. Alloy 200 Seamless Pipe is a seamless metal pipe made up of commercially pure wrought nickel material. The dimensions and pressure classes are governed by standards and schedules. The ASTM B161 UNS N02200 Pipe abides by the B161 standard of nickel pipes. The pipes under this standard range from ½ inch to 10 inches in diameter and 4mm to 219mm in wall thickness. The Nickel 200 Seamless Pipe is used in gas processing, chemical equipment, sea water equipment, heat exchangers and other high corrosion applications.
Pure Nickel 200 Pipe Sleeve is used to fit the nickel pipes together. Often the same material composition is used for pipes and fittings of the same piping system. Depending on the requirements of the applications, the pipes could be used interchangeably to some extent. The Pure Ni 200 Annealed Pipe is made through an annealing procedure which makes it stronger. The most used Ni Alloy 200 Hollow Pipe type is annealed to get the necessary strength to be used under high temperature environments. The nickel alloys are highly thermally conductive and therefore their most uses are in the condensers and heat exchangers. The Nickel 200 Alloy Round Pipes are the most used shape of the pipes. There are other shapes such as square, rectangular and hexagonal pipes. The Ni-200 Square Pipes are used in fluid transport where the bending cannot compromise the strength of the piping system. Alloy 200 Pipe is one of the most used of commercially pure nickel pipes grades.
