Check Incoloy 825 hardness, Alloy 825 properties, CQI/IRCA approved Incoloy 825 material manufacturers
Alloy 825 is a highly corrosion resistant superalloy of chromium and nickel. The alloy has a stable microstructure that has enough nickel to resist chloride ion corrosion cracking. Resistance against acids and inducing agents are brought about by the addition of copper and molybdenum in the composition. The Incoloy 825 UNS N08825 is also resistant to oxidation, nitrates and oxidizing salts because of the addition of the chromium content. The alloy could be welded and heated in the critical sinsitisation temperature range of 650 degrees to 760 degrees Celsius without forming intergranular precipitation. This is possible because of the stabilization by the addition of titanium into the composition. The designation DIN 2.4858 used most in the sulfuric acid service applications because it is resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid corrosions. The material is solid solution annealed and the Incoloy 825 hardness is superior. Due to the hardness provided by the Incoloy 825 chemical composition and the heat treatment methods, the material could be used in high temperature applications such as turbine blades and jet engines as well. The Incoloy 825 properties allow it to be used in pressure vessels which undergo high pressures and have to be stronger and hard. The Incoloy 825 density is 8.14grams per centimeter cube and the melting point is 1400 degrees Celsius. This makes the alloy perform easily under very high temperatures where other elements could not be used. We offer a comprehensive Incoloy 825 price list that suits for all kinds of products and various applications. The applications of the Incoly 825 materials are seen in expansion bellows, power plants and power station ash hoppers, marine exhaust systems, ammonium sulphate vessels, electrostatic precipitator elelctrodes, calorifiers, food vessels, water and seawater vessels, sulphuric acid piping, phosphoric acid evaporators and may others. The Incoloy 825 suppliers can provide products of this alloy to suit any application.
