ASTM A671 Pipe
Carbon Steel ASTM A671 EFW Straight Welded pipe is designed to be used in those applications, where the temperature ranges between ambience to low temperatures. This carbon steel specified ASTM A671 Pipe has been fabricated from a plate that is of a pressure vessel quality. A reason why our clients prefer using this carbon based steel A671 Welded pipe is due to its low cost in comparison to other stainless steel grade. The low cost of the A671 Electric Fusion Welded Pipe is because it has only two elements as the primary alloyants i.e. – carbon and iron. Therefore the cost of the A671 Grade EFW Pipe automatically becomes less unlike the other stainless steel grades which are alloyed with multiple metals like molybdenum, chromium and nickel, two of which are commodity traded metals. Thus, the prices tend to vary in comparison to these carbon based ASTM A671 Gr EFW Pipes.
Even though the cost of the carbon based ASTM a671 pipe grades is low, the metal still offers quite a few reasonable properties. For instance, the A671 Pipe has excellent tensile strength and ductility properties. Because the alloy used in the manufacture of A671 EFW pipes has better weldability and greater toughness properties, they can be used in applications which requires welding with low corrosion resistance properties. Apart from having a high tensile strength, this A671 Material is known to have a low thermal conductivity. We are one of the leading a671 pipe manufacturers, suppliers and exporter of these carbon specified pipes. At our factory, we conduct several tests such as tension test and transverse guided weld bend test, in order to check if these carbon steel pipes meet and conform to the mechanical properties of the ASTM a671 specification.
