That's Why the applications of both are different. Hot rolled AISI 304 bars are mostly used in domestic applications like modular kitchens, construction, and decorative steel structures. However cold rolled SUS 304 Round bars are used in applications where more precision is required like valves manufacturing, Aerospace and mechanical CNC components.

EN 1.4301 cold rolled bars are more expensive compared to hot rolled bars because of their life. SS 304 Bright bars are mainly used to make bolts, machined components, automobiles, handrail and grills because of its surface finish and brightness.
