Stainless Steel ASTM A182 F347 Blind Flanges
A182 F347h is the higher carbon version of the alloy. It is emerged for enhanced creep resistance and for higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F. It is a high carbon austenitic chromium stainless steel which is useful in the applications that demands high temperature resistance. It has the high carbon composition form of alloy and demonstrates improved creep properties and high temperature.
F347h exhibits good general corrosion resistance. It is produce for use in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 – 1500°F where un-stabilized alloys such as ASTM A182 F304 are subject to intergranular attack.

The hardenability of ASTM A182 Gr F347h can be minimized by the use of constant positive feeds and slow speeds. It is useful for applications such as chemical processing, pharmaceutical production, food processing, petroleum refining, etc. Upsetting, forging, and other hot work processes of Material A182 F347h can be performed at 1149 to 1232°C. In order to obtain its maximum hardness it has to be water quenched and annealed.
SA 182 F347h can be readily blanked, stamped, spun and drawn as it is quite ductile and tough. It can be annealed at temperature ranging from 1010 to 1193°C and then quenched with water. It is unresponsive to heat treatment. The hardness and strength of it can be increased by cold working.
ASTM A182 F347 Flanges is a columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel flange with good general corrosion resistance and provides better resistance in strong oxidizing. It provides excellent intergranular corrosion resistance after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 – 1500°F. Stainless Steel 347 Blind Flange does not have a bored or a hub center. It has a face thickness of a flange, a matching face type, and similar bolting pattern. It can be used on a pressure vessel to seal a nozzle opening. SA 182 F347 Weld Neck Flanges contains of a circular fitting with a protruding rim around the circumference. Usually it is machined from a forging and is typically butt welded to a pipe. The rim has a series of drilled holes that allows the flange to be affixed to another flange with bolts. ASTM A182 Gr F347 Slip on Flanges is used for fluids at low pressure or with little risk of leakage. It is useful in cooling water lines, low-pressure compressed air lines, firefighting water lines, process lines for substances such as oil, gas, steam, condensates, etc. 347 Stainless Steel Lap Joint Flanges are very similar to slip on flange. It is popular in both piping and duct system design. It consist of two-part flange which consist of a Lap Joint Stub End which is butt welded to the pipe and a backing lap joint flange which is slid onto the pipe before welding the Stub End.
A182 F347 Forged Flanges are used as a linking part to create a pipework network for cylinders, valves, pumps, and other devices. It incorporate two different sections of the machinery. SS 347 Plate Flange is a flat, circular disk that is welded onto the end of a pipe and allows it to be bolted to another pipe. It is used in fuel and water pipelines. The two plate flanges is bolted together with a gasket in between them. It will have bolt holes all around the perimeter and will be used to create junctions, joints and tees. F347 Stainless Steel Spectacle Blind Flanges is a safety device used to isolate a piece of tool or section of line or when the line or tools demands to be removed or inspected for service. It is different than a valve and it is a permanent or long term isolation device. SS UNS S34700 Reducing Flanges are designed for when there is a change in the pipe size. The predominate flange matching the larger pipe size but having a smaller bore matching the smaller pipe size. It normally comes in blind, slip-on, threaded and weld neck flanges. It is available in all pressure classes and offers a good alternative to connecting two different sizes of pipe.
Stainless Steel S34700 WNRF Flanges are designed to join a piping system by butt welding. It needs lots of specification and is expensive because of its long neck and cost of people for contact WN flange with pipeline or fitting but is preferred for high-stress applications. The hubs or necks transmit stresses to the pipeline. ASTM A182 347 SS Orifice Flanges is a disc-shaped flange, engineered with either a Raised Face or a Ring Type Joint facing. It is used to measure the flow of the fluid conveyed by the pipeline through a flow nozzle positioned on the flange itself.
